Q: My whipped body butter solidifies in cooler temperatures and softens in warm temperatures – is that normal?
A: Yes! Our body butters are made with raw, natural ingredients – no toxins, fillers, or shortcuts. Similar to real butter, the texture may vary in differing temperatures. However, as long as you keep it firmly sealed and out of direct sunlight when not in use, you can be assured that your skin will reap all the great benefits of the body butter. Once warmed in your palm or fingers, the butter should apply nicely onto the body.
Q: Does the body butter have to be refrigerated?
A: No, it does not have to be refrigerated. However, if you live in a predominately hot climate and are purchasing in the summer, we advise putting the body butter into the fridge for about 30 minutes after receiving your package before use. After that, the butter should do just fine in room temperature, out of direct sunlight.

Q: What is the shelf life of your products?
A: As denoted on our packaging, they are good for 12 months, or a year. To ensure freshness, we always make the body butters in small batches.

Q: What can I do to strengthen the aroma of my body butter?
A: We carefully craft our body butters to suit a wide clientele, and understand that while you can’t tone down on the strength of the aroma, you can always add to it. Some people have a lower tolerance to strong essential oil aromas, so we are mindful of that when whipping up our butters. However, if you wish, you may always add some drops of pure essential oils to your butter to strengthen the aroma. For example, if you have a lavender body butter, you can add a couple drops of lavender essential oil to bring out the scent more.
